Living Week By Week
This piece is a representation of my normal—the things I either do every week or think about regularly.
The bubble letters in the top left corner are something I wish I could draw or spray paint every day. There’s something about the constant motion and repetition of those forms that keeps me grounded (lol) and always brings me joy.
Skating and spray painting reflect both my personal background and my culture. They’ve been a part of my life since I was a teenager and are things I honestly can’t imagine living without.
And then there are the streets—my normal every week. Whether I’m commuting for work, exploring somewhere new, or just moving through the city, the streets of Los Angeles are a constant. I’ve spent so much time on them and watched the changes unfold in my neighborhood and beyond over the years.
Every day is a new day.
